Howdy Folks! I haven't posted in a while to my blog, but I am not sure how many people have noticed :). I figured that I would take advantage of some lunch free time to give some info on whats been going on lately.

I recently participated with some other Knoxville Photogs in Help Portrait Day. It was an amazing experience. We didn't have a lot of people show up to get their picture taken, but what little people we had made an impact on us. I feel that we also made a difference for them. One family drove 60 miles to have their picture made. They were amazing, and very thankful for the event. The son was actually in remission from leukemia. They got their picture taken and then shared the amazing story with us. I think that impacted me the most really. All in all it was a great day. I had a blast hanging out with the other photogs and I think all of us came away with something.

I have been SO busy lately with shoots that I haven't had a chance to keep my photo gallery and blog updated, but I promise that after the first of the year, I will be posting all my pictures from the 25 photos shoots I did from October 30 on. We are approaching a rather slow time for photography, so I should be able to get up to date. Hopefully I will be able to stay on top of it once I get caught up.

I am really looking forward to this spring! I can't wait to do some fun Easter and spring time photo sessions! I am also looking forward to possibly booking some weddings. Right now I am wide open for 2010 which is good for all of you who are looking to tie the knot this year and still don't have a photographer! My wedding prices will be going up a bit after June this year, but if you book before then you can still receive the same services at the old prices.

While we are talking about pricing. I will also no longer be including sales tax in the regular price packages. All photography and design services will now be PLUS TAX. This will help me keep better track of what money goes where.

Everyone have a great holiday this year! Stay safe and have fun! Whether you are traveling to be with family or sticking around Knoxville try to take it all in and enjoy yourself. You only have one family and one life to live with them. Love them and cherish the time you will get to spend with them. I for one and so excited to see
